The Atlas Six by Olivie Blake
4.0
It took me a while to finish this book. It wasn't because it was boring, but rather because I had a hard time adjusting to the writing style. At the time I first started reading it, I was busy with studying for my final high school exams and university exams, so time wasn’t exactly on my side. The book's beginning was slow, with long descriptive parts and not much action, which made it harder to get into it.
However, I eventually finished the book and enjoyed it. The book had a dark academia and autumn vibe, which I found intriguing. My favorite character was Nico, who had a good sense of humor and dealt with both academic and personal challenges. Among the female characters, I grew to like Parisa the most, despite not liking her initially. She was fierce, took action, and went after what she wanted. She was the book's most dynamic character, and I was never bored when reading her POV.
Overall, I would rate the book 3.5⭐️/5⭐️. It was an interesting story, but it didn't quite move me the way a 5-star book would. Nonetheless, I enjoyed it and would recommend it to others looking for a good autumn read with dark academia vibes.
