Mismatch by Tami Hoag

3.0

It's certainly not the best book by Tami Hoag, but I enjoyed it. If I could, I would give it 3.5 stars.

The conflict that seemed to be more important to me did not end up being the "main" problem of the book. It felt a bit strange that the deeper and more complex emotional problem was pushed to the side in favor of the last minute mess that Ross made. I think it would have been more satisfying and complete if the overarching problem was addressed rather than introducing a new one.

I also would have liked the ending to be a bit more definitive, especially about (what I felt was) the more pressing overall conflict, but I was just happy that it ended how I wanted.
