a very interesting cinderella rendition! i liked the bit of history of the folk tale in the backmatter, i rarely see retellings that travel beyond the marriage to the prince. the art in this is lovely, very shaped and colorful and perfect for a folk tale. and i like the writing too! she had traded her happiness for a doll..
