I've really enjoyed this book while reading it.
I'm not a native speaker but I had no problems understanding what was written (even when I read the book late at night yesterday). It is really well written.
I already knew the norse mythology before I read this retelling. But I really appreciate this book since it focuses on the best known/most important parts of its mythology and tells them in an easy to understand language. (There is really no need to make things more complicated than needed.)
If anyone is interested in - partly really strange - telling of the norse mythology I highly reccomend reading this.
