Hidden Treasures by Michelle Adams

I received this uncorrected proof from a Goodreads contest and am under no obligation to post a review.

Hidden Treasures by Michelle Adams tells the life of Harry ( present day ) and his mother, Francis (pass ) . For me the beginning of the story was slow moving and I often left the book sit for days. However about mid way the plot started to take shape and a beautiful story emerged. By the end of the book you understand the characters better; even liking Benoit which, because of his illegal relationship with Francis makes you wish ill upon him. From a women trapped in a mental illness along with a hoarding disorder, to a mother desperate to keep her child safe. To a young man who felt unloved, abandoned to a confident man who knows a mothers love and the love of a woman. To a young woman in an abusive marriage to a woman able to leave it and find a healthy love. And lastly to a married man , 15 years older than the 16 year girl he is in a sexual relationship with who makes a living stealing from others to an old man still in love with her, a remorseful father and a person who believed in returning stolen objects to their rightful owners, The characters take shape and the reader is left with more than the found treasure box.....
