A Quiet Retreat by Kiersten Modglin
4.0
This is such a fast past read. It was enjoyable and kept me guessing all way to the end. 5 writers receive an invitation to a secluded cabin for a quiet writing retreat in turn for their review of the place. The writers vaguely know one another from being at various events, conferences or possibly reading each others books. Once they settle in some start writing and then things start disappearing from their rooms and the cabin. The book does toggle between the writing retreat cabin and the main characters previous years. I didn’t see the twist a the end coming and was shocked. Great quick thrilling read. Many thanks to Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for the Audiobook. All opinions expressed in this review are my own
