I, admittedly, jumped into this book without reading the previous two. I can confidently say it didn't harm my reading experience. Trap and Khyanna are two young people trying to get settled in life. Trap is starting life over and is realizing that prioritizing his dreams are most important until fate allows him a chance to meet with a kindred soul, Khyanna.
I loved that this is just a good love story without too many extra frills. Each character has a load they carry, and over time, they get to unpack their load and find a home within each other's hearts. I thought the story was beautifully written, and Trap was an absolute nut job.
