I might've appreciated the story more had my French been better or if I had read the book in a language that I am more fluent in. But as I had to read this for French class, reading it in another language was not an option. However, one thing that irked me throughout the book was that the sentences could run for half a page before coming to an end. It made it a bit difficult to read in my opinion. Though I did like the length of the chapters; it made it easier to plow through the book.
