Monty Python x medieval National Treasure with a healthy dose of history channel and make it gay. This was so much fun to read, I want everyone I know to read it just so they can experience the joy I did. 

The humor is so perfect, it manages to fit the time period while still feeling relevant. It’s rare a book makes me laugh out loud but I was regularly cackling with this! 
I loved the heist, and the different reactions in all of the various scenarios to different situations. 
Really loved the historically accurate setting, and how well integrated it was. 

This was just a sweet, fun, hilarious romp across 11th century Italy!
