The Diplomat's Wife by Pam Jenoff

4.0

I have been really lucky lately, and am on a 'reading new books that I loved' streak.

If I could, I'd give this a 4.5. I'm all about fractions of stars in book reviews. And student work, come to think of it.

I read [bc:The Kommandant's Girl|374494|The Kommandant's Girl|Pam Jenoff|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1174267024s/374494.jpg|1394552] a few years ago and loved it, and obviously got distracted, or something, because I never followed up with any of Jenoff's other books. I'm doing my best to remedy this situation now. This was a great story, with a main character I connected with early on and cheered for throughout the story. There were some mild twists and turns, and I think now that I'm reading my 2nd Jenoff book in two days, there might be a slightly formulaic approach, but I couldn't put it down. Really a very good story, with an interesting protagonist and setting.
