Deacon thinks and acts like a five year old boy showing off. Constantly telling the reader how he's so mean and he'll kill anyone who gets in his way. He means it. He'll do it. I did it. See. I told you I'm scary.I know he is actually badass, but it's impossible for me to take him seriously. Also, the man who he already wants to kill threatens his mate's life. If there was any moment for him tot act on this alpha machoism this is it.. and yet no. I like Rio so I thought I could do this, but I can't listen to Deacon anymore.  I'm sad because I love this trope so much! I'm going to try book #3. See if it's just Deacon.
