I LOOOOVE an established relationship story ANYDAY, but a billion bonus points for it being by Mhairi McFarlane, who has such a lovely way of creating characters that you love hanging around, and whose hang-ups and plot-necessary flaws are easy to understand. Elliot and Edie also feel very evenly matched here in a way I'm impressed by, considering how many books I've read fumble the famous+normie dynamic.
