Queer: A Graphic History by Meg-John Barker

challenging informative reflective slow-paced

2.75

I have learned more Queer history and theory reading this book than in 40+ years. This definitely falls under the banner of the type of book that would have been useful to me as a wee queer growing up.

However, it wasn't quite the book I was expecting - it was MUCH heavier, much more in depth than I expected from a graphic novel. And for me personally I don't feel the style of the book worked for the subject matter.
