is every book in this collection about men and their lack of masculinity and overload misogyny? I genuinely start to not care about the stories at all which is sad because there are like 75 more to go? or 100?
one thing I couldn't comprehend about this little book is how it can be both pro-lgbt+ and homophobic all at once? it's truly a concern, lmao.
okay, let me rate them:
♡ Cockcrow – ?/5, what is English and words and language overall and brain?
♡ Femme Fatale – 3.5/5, only for the lesbians, it was nice that hedied in a swamp or whatever it was. i'd die with the frogs too if I caught my girl with another girl.
♡ Hautot & Son – 2/5,he literally goes to his dad's mistress and idk what happens next but they talk about meeting again which makes me think about them getting together and ??? how can you be with your dad's mistress, my guy????????
♡ Laid to Rest – 4/5, the ending was intriguing, ngl
overall, not impressed and I really don't know what the hype is all about that guy (de maupassant).
