I enjoyed this book, it's probably my favorite of the Daine books. Dinosaurs! But it also makes me incredibly uncomfortable. Numair's talk with Kaddar about not leading Daine on and the way he waves away any kind of accusation of impropriety and his comments about her turning into a young lady, it's very hard not to read as grooming.
