Upon finishing this book, I am left speechless—unsure whether to stand in ovation and abashed applause, to fall into a heap of tears, or to bow with my face to the ground in utmost respect. I wish for everyone in this world to read it—specifically every man. The importance of Chanel Miller's memoir cannot be understated. The reality of her experience is the reality of many. Not only is the message itself important, but she expressed it so articulately and beautifully, walking us through the horrors and pains of her story, as well as the beacons of hope.

Proceed with caution, this is a difficult account to read and I almost didn't finish it, but I'm glad I did. Easily one of the most impactful books I have read or will have ever read.
