Well, this book was more and better than expected. I'd be reading along in my happy YA bliss then, BOOM, cannibal pirates...BOOM, death. I'd catch myself looking around to check if anybody else was as pleasantly taken aback as I was, but they weren't because the only other person in the room was my sleeping baby. She missed out.
