I think this is a case where I actually would have enjoyed a more academic book instead. My level of interest in dinosaurs might be a bit beyond that of the target audience. There wasn’t much information here that was new to me and the way some of it was presented was annoying. 

At one point, the host spends a good deal of time declaring dinosaurs are birds, birds are dinosaurs, then when he finally gets into the explanation of why he’s saying that, he goes, “well if we’re being pedantic, dinosaurs AREN’T birds”. If there is ever a time to be pedantic, I would argue it’s when something is meant to be educational!
