Another Toni Anderson book I’ve read and listened to a whole bunch of times. They’re just comfort books at this point, and I adore the badass FMC in this one. She’s a hard-ass and doesn’t let any man put her down, but she’s also just a good and loyal person. Dominic is a commitment-phobe, but in a surprisingly non-annoying way. He’s had a rough time with the death of his mother and a revolving door of step-moms, but he’s also not a jackass about the whole thing.

The mystery part is great, and I love it when this author includes the POV of the villain of the story.
