Trigger Warnings
I had been wondering why I had not written a review for this book and I think it's because I have a lot of things I want to say about this and mixed feelings about a lot of things.

I have read Wonder and I was comparing August to Melody and Out of My Mind made August look extremely lucky (he was extremely lucky the whole time) and I felt so sorry for Melody sometimes because I cannot imagine not being able to communicate with words.
The writing was great and I really understood Melody most of the time.

The only problem I had with it was that it was too happy. I was expecting something deeper and not a "happily-ever-after" kind of thing.
