Hello, Habits: A Minimalist's Guide to a Better Life by Fumio Sasaki
3.0
Fumio Sasaki's other book, "Goodbye, Things" was truly transformational for me, so I was curious to read his follow up on habits, especially since habits are something I've thought a lot about in the last couple of years.
There is a lot of good, practical advice here, and Sasaki's style is easy going and enjoyable. I'm glad I read it. But I read "Atomic Habits" earlier this year, and it felt like a more comprehensive overview on how habits are created and destroyed. The bulk of this book was more like a list of 50+ tips and thoughts about habits.
If you like Sasaki's style, you should read this book. If you're struggling with forming habits and want a pick-me-up, check it out. But if you're only going to read one book on habit forming, I don't think this is the one to pick up.
