Foucault's Pendulum by Umberto Eco

2.0

Thank God for Tim Curry's narration. Yeesh. I normally enjoy Umberto Eco's dense, obscure subjects and plodding, mysterious narratives. But then again, the other novels of his I've read have more interesting characters. I just couldn't get behind this pack of insufferable, bored intellectuals. The idea of the story is great and classic Eco. But without a better cast, it just ended up a disappointing slog. Drat.
