HOLY SHIT!! THAT WAS AMAZING! BLOOOOOODY HELL!!! I think I liked it better than Neuromancer, although both are slightly different in how they deal with the cyberpunk genre. Still, I can definitely see how this was instrumental in influencing the genre as a whole, even though it came onto the scene so late, compared to its predecessors in the genre. Also, this book is a little less jargon and techno-babble heavy when compared to Neuromancer. So I think it will be a little more accessible to a layman who doesn't know much about computers and tech.

I also think this book has some of the most well written characters ever - everyone is so deep and multi-faceted. And different. And their nuances and differences are perfectly represented. Some insane level of writing.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
