This was a recommendation from a bookstore employee and it took me a LONG time to get to and I wish I'd read it sooner. It was brilliant and fun and clever. The characters are deeply interesting and flawed but in a realistic way. Also, I haven't read much set on this side of the globe so it's interesting learning about new traditions and mythologies.
