The Girl Who Lived by Christopher Greyson
3.0
In a nutshell:
Well written and easy to read. It kept my interest for the most part, but ultimately it's another 'whodunnit' piece.
The protagonist is slightly jarring, many of the characters are your usual cliches, but it works.
I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend but if you are a die-hard thriller fan, you are likely to enjoy it all the same.
Opening Sentence:
They were coming for her, but Faith wasn't in the mood to go anywhere.
Closing Sentence:
She tossed the bottle into the flames and limped away, up the trail.
