Bagdadin kutsu by Yasmina Khadra
3.0
The story and substance of this book is a firm four star read and I am certain every reader will take something to their heart and the book will leave its mark on the reader. The writing and storytelling technique just had few hick ups for me. In couple of places in the book long dialogs were there just to educate the reader. I wish the writer would have found a more natural way of passing the information. Also the the mind of some characters fluctuated from one extreme to the other quite quickly so that it was hard to follow the motivation behind it. Despite all that I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in the "why and how" of terrorism. You won't regret reading it!
