I really enjoyed this book. It's a holiday romance, but it doesn't feel like one. The main character struggles with a lot of relatable issues like sibling rivalry, family obligations, lack of fulfilment at work, etc. The cultural aspects were really interesting to read both as a first-gen indian-american but also dealing with her cultural identity back in India and the caste system. The romance was well-done for an instalove-ish story but still managed to have good depth to the relationship.
