Was this a crossover episode between ACOTAR and TOG? Yes. Was it a good one? No.

What the fuck is Reuben’s deal? I understand that he is controlled by Marvellas but his presence in the book is so dumb and makes absolutely no sense. It could’ve been such an interesting subplot but instead it makes my eye twitch whenever I see his name. Not to mention Faythe’s stupidity in trusting him even though she REMEMBERS not telling him about the Isles. And Reylan & Co (aka The Inner Circle) agreeing to take him on a suicide mission? Ridiculous. Stupid. Pointless.

Three books and I still don’t get the concept of the temple ruins. Just call them Wyrdkeys and call it a day ma’am. On that note, I know Faythe IS stupid but how did she not realise earlier which ruin Zaiana had? It’s not a rocket science since there are only three of them so??

Oh, and now the next book we’ll getting is a Nik and Tauria book? What in the Tower of Dawn is this?

I liked Maverick though. He seems like the only character with at least a resemblance of any personality.
