This was a lovely read that I marathoned in two days because I enjoyed it so much.

The autism rep was done so lovely and oh so relatable. It was great to see this on paper and it being handled by the other characters with love. The main characters struggles were shown on paper, and there was definitely a lot of ableism going on from other characters, but those characters who actually mattered accepted her for who she was and that was great.

I do have to mention though that the first 5 pages almost made me dnf, idk if you can call it a dnf at that point already, but I didn't like it much. The book tries to make clear in those first few pages that she is Autistic. Which is fine, but it was done so directly and in your face it made me a bit uncomfortable. It felt like I was reading a list of all the stereotypical Autism symptoms, but not particularly showing them in a positive light either. It was not fun to read and made me reconsider reading this book. I decided to continue at least a few chapters in and I was happy I did because the rest of the book wasn't like that at all.

The care and love between the main couple in the book was wonderful and warmed my heart to see all of that written in the way it was. It made me want to keep reading because the book just kept flooding me with good feelings and love.
There is of course some tension in the book too, which was done quite well and then the way it resolved those issues was very lovely.
