If you are looking for an easy fantasy read or are new to the genre and want something with a simple to follow magic system, this is a great book for you. 

I enjoyed the fact that the FMC is almost at war with herself and her siren nature.
She feels guilt over the kills she makes, but knows that it isn’t enough to stop her from doing it.


The writing was enjoyable and the pacing was great, but for me it felt like I had read this before?
