The blurb caught my attention and it made me want to read this book especially with the intrigue I had after reading the blurb. As soon as I had started reading this book, as soon as I finished the first chapter I wanted to keep reading. I wanted to be able to find out what was going to happen next. Ashlai was such an interesting character and with the challenges in which she had to face, and had to go through. And with her working through these challenges, she developed as a character throughout the book. The way the story developed with the twist and turns that occurred. With most of them which came to a surprise for me. With how the book ended I am intrigued to see what the next book has install.
