I think what prompted me to getting the book was that I never come across much fantasy books that focus on Eastern/European mythologies. After reading the book, it became so much more. It's a beautiful book from cover to words. All the characters, including the small side characters have a chance to shine. Of course, the Golem Chava and the Jinni were amazing. I loved their banter. The irony of their situation because of their mythological nature was an interesting issue to see as the story went on.

I love this book so much! I will definitely look out for Wecker's future works. Oh I really hope there are future works!
