Savage by Ella Frank, Brooke Blaine
4.0
Savage kicks off the Park Avenue Kings series, spinning off from the world of Park Avenue Princes. This time, we dive into Lachlan Stone and Cooper Patterson’s story, and their chemistry is absolutely electric. Ella Frank and Brooke Blaine nailed it again with their talent for crafting irresistible relationships.
I’ll admit, I was hesitant at first about the secret society angle, but it hooked me right away, especially the dynamic between the Kings. And Lachlan? A security CEO by day, unhinged vigilante by night, easily one of the sexiest characters these authors have written. His obsession with Cooper starts after one messy meeting, and Cooper is just as hooked, no matter which version of Lachlan he encounters. Yes, their connection starts off heavy on lust, but their devotion to each other shines through as their relationship deepens.
The Kings themselves are fascinating, and this series has so much potential. Alessio, in particular, caught my attention (he and a certain priest need a story). Overall, this is a strong, steamy start, and I can’t wait to see where the series goes next!
