At first, I found this book hard to follow. Just as I would grow close to a character, the chapter would end, and we'd hear from a new character. As all the strands started to wind together, I found the book better and better. Its richness lays in the foundation of the early chapters. At the end, I couldn't put it down and was sad to see the last page.
