I was looking forward to this book. Although I found the first book somewhat week in world building and logic :), it was still a very enjoyable read.
This unfortunately was a disappointment.
I wish Rebecca Yarros went with her original plan and split this book into two books.
The first part felt repetitive. After such dramatic revelations in the end of Fourth Wing, we go back to the school, trainings and secrets. It ends with a dramatic scene followed by.... more of the same only in a different location.
I was hoping to learn more on the world and people. Instead I have more questions.
I am not sure if I will continue with the series.
