You know you have a freaking amazing graphic novel series on your hands when the base plot takes a stereotypical sweet grandma trope and turns it 360 degrees into a chain - smoking, gun toting retired monster slayer grandma!

Not only that, we have the author taking the Aurthorian legend into a zombie - with King Arthur being back from the dead; ala Mummy style - and a grandson - grandmother monster fighting duo that had me enjoying this graphic novel far more than I had expected to!

The art is quite easily as dark as the plotline expected - and I certainly was glued till the end! Since, it was the first volume in the series; the plotline was far more streamlined than I expected and I honestly was surprised with the way the author has actually put forward the story and character ARC; and I am really looking forward to the next volume in the series!
