Suddenly a Murder by Lauren Muñoz

4.0

This was an enjoyable YA mystery! Sometimes mysteries like these where only one murder takes place can be grating especially if the characters are not interesting enough to care who killed the victim. BUT in this case I actually liked learning more about the relationship dynamics of everyone involved. Everyone has a motive to kill Blaine and I wanted to know who did badly. Isadora as our main character was amazing and from the beginning we know she’s involved in the murder but we don’t know in what capacity. It was very well done framing and setup of the mystery from the author.
