Required reading, indeed! I am mesmerized by Ta Nehisi Coates writing and i can’t believe that no one saw his gift (or maybe intentionally ignored it 😡). We are so blessed to have him and his poetic words now 🙏🏼  I loved the way he answered such momental questions and how the Dreamers have engineered everything including their own forgetting. That part stuck out to me because there’s a book called The Memory Police where a forgetting was engineered as well. Very interesting and harrowing to think about the danger of forgetting.
