Les Misérables by Victor Hugo
5.0
“A garden to walk in and immensity to dream in, what more could he ask? A few flowers at his feet and above him the stars.”

I don’t think I can say something new about this fabulous classic. I’ve never read something like this and I don’t think I will in the future. It was a loooong read, sometimes it was so easy to read and sometimes I was bored reading a few parts that I thought weren’t necessary.
It is a beautiful and sad story, with many details, important lessons, complex characters and epic moments. Thank you Victor Hugo for making this powerful story about the June Rebellion.
