This book is about love, but it's also about grief and healing.
TJR has a very special ability to convey the deep emotions of her characters and impart them to her readers. I felt my heart falling and breaking and healing and breaking again, along with Emma and Jesse and Sam.
This book makes you think about yourself, about your partner, about what happens if the worst should happen. About how you would grieve. About how you would heal.
About who you would become.
If I had to have a qualm, it's that, shockingly for a TJR book, the ending was quite predictable.
