Not the usual boss/employee romance, and I liked it because of that.
What if you decided not to hire someone, then they essentially corner you into doing so, then before you realize it you’re each other’s person which allows each of you to grow?
I appreciated the balance of thinking through the mucky waters of all that and the sweet stuff and the tingly stuff and the family stuff.
Also liked seeing Magnolia and Ron from book #1 showing up.
Onto book 3!
