I wasn't expected this to be so bittersweet! I thought it'd be a cute continuation but I guess it does fit the universe from the series, which is actually depressing the more I think about it. I can't say I fully came to love Viro, Jason and Vale's son, because yes he is a kid but damn he got me angry lol. I did like to see more about the family. Also, the Yule and Miner's plot was something that, while it makes sense, I didn't expect to be shown.

I think what made me feel the most bummed out for was Riki's situation. That poor boy. I'm glad I read Winter's Heart before this because at least I knew what would happen, or else I'd be sooo pissed off. Still, I wish there was another extra but this time about Riki. I'd love to see more of Caleb's family as well.
