This is a modern take on Agatha Christie’s novel “And Then There Were None”. It was good - I mean not Queen of Mystery good, but good. 10 high school seniors arrive at a private house on a small island of the rich for an exclusive party. But the host never shows and one by one the guests turn up dead. As main character Meg pieces together what everyone has in common, she is also dealing with her unstable best friend who thinks Meg should only have a supporting role to her and trying to stay away from the boy she loves because her best friend loves him too. The twist at the end on one hand I expected because I have read the Christie novel but on the other hand the actual WHO was still a surprise as the author gives the clues but also red herrings. All in all a good if not original book.
