I was supposed to read this in the original Olde English in college. I didn’t. All I remember of the course was extreme bordem. Now that I’ve listened to it in a “modern” translation, I know that my professor was either a) a terrible teacher or b) terribly embarrassed to be teaching thinly veiled erotica.
