Clown in a Cornfield by Adam Cesare
3.0
*3.5 stars*
I thought this was going to be more ghost/paranormal based, so it was kind of a bummer when I found out it was a slasher. BUT MAN....I loved this honestly, but it really doesn't pick up till almost halfway through the book. ALTHOUGH, When it picks up it RUNS and absolutely does not stop.
I had a lot of fun here but be warned it's pretty gruesome, something that was surprising for me since it's YA. Was not anticipating how bloody it would get, and this book definitely has one of the highest body counts I've ever read.
It truly is a perfect book for the halloween season and for fans of the Scream franchise!
