Mistletoe on 34th Street by Lisa Dickenson
2.0
The premises for me to love this book were all there:
- Christmas time
- in New York
- A girl who doesn’t believe in (traditional) Christmas
- A love triangle
... and yet. I’m sorry to say that I didn’t enjoy this book as I’d thought I would. The love story, that ought to be the main part of a rom-con, was kept short and ‘up to the point’, as though it wasn’t, in fact, the main point of the book. I found myself rushing through the book just to get to the juicy bits. It’s a shame, because I could have definitely done with more of the romance between the characters.
