Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass by Lana Del Rey

2.0

This was the beat generation’s worst nightmare (and mine)

I feel like it’s good for people who like lana del Rey and aren’t into a lot of poetry - but it wasn’t to my taste + the haikus at the end of the book were just phrases (aka a waste of paper)

The only poems I liked were:
  • Violet bent backwards over the grass
  • Never to heaven
  • Sport cruiser (the first half)
  • Quiet waiter blue forever
