Good, entertaining, middle grade fantasy!
I want to read more of these. I like the shapeshiftiness, female strength, and "White Hands."
Some of the logic was a little inconsistent but was ok with the what it "allowed" with the plot/story.
Light read but still has themes related to gender, races, wealth, power.
