Genuine Lies by Nora Roberts

Eve Benedict a famous movie star wants Julie Summers to write her biography. Julie leaves her home in Connecticut with her son, Brandon, to stay in the guest house on Eve's while she researches and writes the first draft of the book. Eve has ulterior motives for wanting to tell the truth about many things that have happened in her 50 year career. We learn about her lives and loves her regrets and her triumphs. Eve's stepson, Paul Winthrop, is a writer of crime novels. He is very protective of Eve and really doesn't think the book is a good idea. Paul and Julie fall for each other. Eve reveals many secrets but one really big one to Julie. The next day she is murdered and Julie is a suspect. This is really well done. I did not know who the real killer was until it was revealed. I loved Julie and Paul and found the storyline very engaging. I could not put it down.
