The shoes she filled were constantly switching in size. Just imagine what that does to your feet.
Another weird little book to add to my growing Weird Little Book Collection. This book uses an absurdist approach to tackle the topic of what late stage capitalism does to the work force (especially temp-workers) and how this treatment has greatly warped the way we all self-identify. I loved it. Absolutely loved it. I’m so obsessed with the prose, the use of repetition and how with each repetition the phrases hold more weight or are given new contextual meanings. This book was so much fun because I never truly knew where it was going but the journey was chaotic in a way that kept me reading, kept me interested. I will definitely be checking out more of this author’s work.
